Monocraft Tech Studio uses this website and its booking system to take and manage your bookings. This notice explains what personal data we collect, why, and the choices you have. It follows Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Act 2010.
What we collect
- Contact details: your name, your mobile number (we confirm it with a one-time code sent by WhatsApp), and your email if you give it.
- Where the job is: your address, unit and postal code, and details such as the type and size of the property or the number of units.
- Your bookings: the service, the date and time, your notes, and any photos you send us for a quote.
- Job records: what was done, photos taken during the job, your signature on the service report, and your invoices, receipts and payments.
We never see or keep your card number. Online payments are handled by our payment provider.
Why we use it
- To confirm, schedule and carry out your bookings, and to send our team to the right place.
- To send you confirmations, reminders, invoices, receipts and service reports.
- To remind you when a service is due again. You can stop these reminders at any time with the link in the email.
- To keep the records the law requires, such as accounting records, and to handle warranty claims and complaints.
Who sees it
- Our own staff, and the technicians we send to your job.
- The companies that run the system for us: Monocraft Service OS, which provides the website and booking system, and the providers it uses to store data, send email, send WhatsApp codes (Meta) and take online payments. They may use your data only to provide their service to us.
- Government authorities, when the law requires it.
We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.
Where it is kept
Our providers may keep data on servers outside Malaysia. We only use providers that protect it to a standard at least as high as the law requires here.
How long we keep it
For as long as you are our customer, and afterwards for as long as the law requires (accounting records, for example, are kept for several years). Then we delete it.
Your choices
You may ask to see or correct your data, stop service reminders, withdraw your consent, or ask us to delete your data, unless the law requires us to keep it. Contact us using the details below; we reply within 21 days.
Cookies
The booking pages use a cookie and your browser's storage to keep you signed in and to remember your language. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
